The flag of Yukon, adopted in 1968, is a green, white, and blue tricolour with the coat of arms of Yukon at the centre above a wreath of fireweed, the territorial flower. The green represents the forests. The white represents the snow. The blue represents the lakes and rivers. In the center of the white panel is the coat of arms above a wreath of fireweed. The crest of the coat of arms is a malamute sled dog standing on a mound of snow. The shield contains at the top the St George Cross for England with a Roundel in Vair in the center of the cross. Below are the middle are two wavy lines representing the rivers. The bottom of the shield has two red triangles with gold circles, representing the mountains and great mineral resources.

Q: How should the American flag be displayed?
A: The flag should be hoisted briskly and lowered ceremoniously.
