Canadian Providence- Yukon

The flag of Yukon, adopted in 1968, is a green, white, and blue tricolour with the coat of arms of Yukon at the centre above a wreath of fireweed, the territorial flower. The green presents the forests. The white represents the snow. The blue represents the lakes and rivers. In the center of the white panel is the coat of arms above a wreath of fireweed. The crest of the coat of arms is a malamute seld dog standings on a mound of snow. The shield contains at the top St George Cross for England with Roundel in Vair in the center of the cross. Below is the middle are two wavy lines representing the rivers. The bottom of the shield has two red triangales with gold circles, representing the mountains and great mineral resources.
