Wyoming State Flag
Made In The USA
Wyoming is a state in the Mountain West subregion of the Western United States. The region was named "Wyoming" in a bill introduced to Congress in 1865 to provide a temporary government for the territory of Wyoming. The name ultimately derives from the Lenape Munsee word meaning at the big river flat. The federal government established the Wyoming Territory on July 25, 1868. Congress admitted Wyoming into the Union as the 44th state on July 10, 1890.
